Hull City are going up. Oli McBurnie's late goal, the only one of the afternoon, beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at Wembley and sent Hull back to the Premier League through the Championship Play-Off Final.

The ending fit a strange week. Middlesbrough were at Wembley at all because Southampton had cheated to beat them: the Saints, it emerged, had someone watching Boro's training, eyes where they had no business being.

Southampton won the semifinal and then lost everything, thrown out of the playoffs once the spying surfaced, and Middlesbrough were restored to the final they had been cheated out of.

McBurnie was the difference, rattling the bar on the stroke of halftime before burying the winner when it mattered.

Below, the full match as it happened from Wembley.
